Born and raised in Lyon, France, Antoine’s culinary journey began at a young age, inspired by his grandmother’s traditional French cooking. He honed his skills at the prestigious Paul Bocuse Institute, where he mastered classic French techniques and developed a passion for modern gastronomy.
Before joining Gourmet Delights, Chef Antoine worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, including a stint at Le Bernardin in Paris. His experience has shaped his culinary philosophy, which emphasizes the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients and a commitment to creating dishes that are both visually stunning and incredibly flavorful. Under his leadership, Gourmet Delights has earned numerous accolades, solidifying its position as one of Chicago's premier fine dining destinations.
Antoine’s signature dish, the Seared Scallops with Saffron Risotto, is a testament to his dedication to perfection. Chef Isabella Rossi - Head Pastry Chef
Chef Isabella Rossi is the creative genius behind Gourmet Delights' exquisite desserts and pastries. Hailing from Rome, Italy, Isabella developed a love for baking from her family's renowned pasticceria. She trained at the Culinary Institute of America, specializing in pastry arts, where she refined her skills in creating intricate and delicious sweet treats.
Isabella’s passion lies in blending traditional Italian baking techniques with modern flavors and presentations. She believes that dessert is the perfect ending to any meal and strives to create experiences that are both memorable and satisfying. Her signature dessert, the Chocolate Hazelnut Torte, is a decadent masterpiece that showcases her expertise in balancing rich flavors and textures.
Prior to joining Gourmet Delights, Isabella worked at several high-end bakeries and restaurants in New York City and Milan. Her experience has allowed her to develop a unique style that is both elegant and approachable. She is constantly experimenting with new ingredients and techniques, ensuring that Gourmet Delights' dessert menu is always fresh and exciting.
Isabella is also an advocate for sustainable baking practices and sources many of her ingredients from local farms and producers. She believes that using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients not only enhances the flavor of her desserts but also supports the community.
In her free time, Isabella enjoys exploring Chicago's diverse neighborhoods and discovering new culinary inspirations. She also teaches baking classes at a local community center, sharing her passion and expertise with aspiring bakers.

Chef Kenji Tanaka - Sous Chef
Chef Kenji Tanaka is the Sous Chef at Gourmet Delights and a vital member of our culinary team. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kenji’s culinary journey began with a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine and a desire to explore the world of flavors. He studied at the Tokyo Culinary Institute, where he mastered traditional Japanese techniques and developed a keen eye for detail.
